Fallen Earth developers are planning a full day of events on Thursday, March 12 . Activities will include a monster hunt for closed Beta players and a live IRC chat.

On Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. and 9 p.m. EDT, players will have two opportunities to interact with the Fallen Earth development team and win prizes!
Starting at 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 pm EDT, all registered closed beta participants will have the opportunity to play alongside the devs on a monster hunt in the Embry Crossroads area. The devs will set up teams prior to the hunt. Additional information will be posted on the closed beta Forums. During the Day with Devs playtime we will randomly choose 5 lucky players that will win a Fallen Earth T-shirt and closed beta keys.
Then at 9:00 p.m. EDT, any and all interested fans are encouraged to participate in a live dev chat hosted by Stratics.com. The chat topic will be anything goes with Fallen Earth. There will be plenty of Devs on hand for this chat: Alec Masters, RandomTask, Funslayer, Tiggs, Morgana and Quisno. During the chat there will be chances to win Fallen Earth T-shirts and closed beta keys. After the chat some Devs will join the channel #fallenearth on Stratics network to get to know the participants.
Scheduled for the second Thursday of each month, "day with the devs" was designed to increase interaction between game designers and fans for better feedback and increased community participation.
Although the 1 p.m. play time with the dev team in Embry Crossroads is only open to closed beta participants, fans have two ways to sign up for participation. Fallen Earth is accepting clans into the testing program (http://www.fallenearth.com/index.php?page=guildapp) while individuals are able to sign up for the closed beta through membership to the forums. At 9 p.m. EDT (8 p.m. CDT, 6 p.m. PST, 2 a.m. Friday, February 13th GMT) Stratics network will host the third monthly House of Commons (HoC) chat with the developers of Fallen Earth in the #StraticsHoC channel on Stratics IRC. The chat topic for this HoC Chat is open to all questions regarding Fallen Earth. During the hour, the community team randomly awards participants with closed beta keys, clan invites and special prizes (t-shirts). Participants may submit their questions ahead of time on the Fallen Earth forums.
Participants can connect to one of the Stratics IRC servers through use of any IRC client, such as mIRC, ircle, xchat, trillian and others. Participants should connect to irc.stratics.com, port 6668, or the server in nearest proximity:
