What is the special thing about Fallen Earth? Why is it better than other MMORPG´s?
Fallen Earth's strength is that it doesn't easily fit into any of the typical MMO conventions. It's a little bit FPS, it's a little bit RPG. It's got PvP and PvE. It's got a little bit of everything. Some people would say don't try to do too much in one game. But there are a number of things that we do well: we have an amazing classless advancement system which gives players the option to create they character they want instead of being confined to a class. We have a real time crafting system that gives players the control in making 95 percent of game items, so all the coolest gear is made by players for players. And we are set in the post-apocalyptic genre, which is a bit different than a lot of other games on the market.
What was the most important moment while programming the game?
When someone sets out to make a game, you have a million options. The most difficult aspects are learning to balance what you must have with what you'd like to have. The development team had to learn to balance fun with functionality so that the player has an enjoyable experience but all of the critical components to make the game run are in place. It's all about the fun, after all.
